We are glad to announce that the Portuguese cluster TICE.PT will become from now on, new member of the SmartCityTech partnerhsip. After a voting where all current partners participated some weeks ago, they agreed to accept their candidature. During the partner meeting held in Firenze TICE.PT becomes officially a full member. 

TICE.PT plays an important role as a cluster, in the definition and application of strategies for ICT an electronic sectors in Portugal. The cluster, which has a national coverage, brings together companies, associations, universities, polytechnics and knowledge transfer units. This allows them to act along the whole value chain and provide product innovation services. In 2015 the cluster was awarded with the gold label for the Excellence Management Group. 

With this new addition, currently the SmartCityTech counts on 9 members (DSPValley, BICCnet, BrainsBusiness, GAIA, SCC Cluster, AMEC, House of Energy, Systematic and TICE.PT) from 7 European countries (Belgium, Germany, Denmark, Spain, Italy, France and Portugal).
