Digitalisation - the next frontier for trade & connectivity

Singapore’s position as a strategic trade hub is backed by our strong regional networks and connectivity. In recent years, Singapore has also transformed into a hub for innovation activity.

The Trade and Connectivity Challenge (TCC) leverages Singapore’s vibrant ecosystem of global trade, connectivity and innovation as a call for solutions to drive partnerships in the aviation, maritime, land mobility, logistics, and trade sectors. Now, in its second year, TCC 2020 continues to provide opportunities for startups and SMEs to co-innovate, deploy, and adopt innovative solutions.

Enterprise Singapore, together with IPI, invites you to showcase your innovative solutions in growth areas, such as big data analysis, Internet of Things and sustainability post-COVID19. With a wide array of challenges, this year’s competition expands to feature two challenge tracks.

Enterprise Track

This track calls for local and international startups to co-develop and test-bed your innovative solutions with challenge sponsors through a paid contract during the trial stage. The challenge winner will stand to win the top prize of up to S,000 grant and will also advance into SLINGSHOT 2020 - Asia's premier deep tech startup competition. Promising startups may receive additional funding support for project trials and an opportunity to further develop your solutions with challenge sponsors.

Industry Track

This track calls for local and international startups or SMEs to tackle sectoral challenges for adoption at scale across the industry. This track is also featured as part of the newly launched National Innovation Challenges (NIC). Each NIC challenge statement will be allocated up to S,000,000 in co-funding grant support (for eligible enterprises) from prototype, deployment to adoption. Solutions providers will also benefit from the good customer references established, and gain greater access to commercial opportunities with potential global clients.
